Pawsagna Recipe | Dog-Friendly Lasagna for Your Pup

Pawsagna

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup of water
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Gluten-free lasagna noodles
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 kumara (sweet potatoes)
  • Some dog-safe herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley)
  • Some dog-safe cheese (Swiss, mozzarella, or cottage cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon Kōrure Pets Dog Bone Broth Powder
  • Kōrure Pets Topper

Method: 

  1. Cook the gluten-free lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set them aside to cool.

  2. Peel and chop the kumara and carrot into small cubes. Boil or steam them until tender, then mash them into a smooth consistency.

  3. Add 1 tablespoon of Kōrure Pets Dog Bone Broth Powder with 1 cup of water to the mashed kumara and carrot. Stir until fully dissolved.

  4. Sprinkle some dog-safe herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley) over the vegetable mixture.

  5. Add the Kōrure Pets Topper and mix it with the pawsagna paste.

  6. On a plate, place a layer of lasagna noodles. Then spread a layer of pawsagna paste over the noodles, followed by a layer of dog-safe cheese on top of the pawsagna paste.

  7. Repeat the layers (noodles, pawsagna paste, cheese) until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cheese on top.

  8. Allow the Pawsagna to cool before cutting it into dog-sized portions. Sprinkle some Kōrure Pets Topper over each portion before serving.
