Dog-Friendly Kumara Christmas Treats: A Holiday Recipe for Your Pup!
Ingredients:
- 1 steamed kumara
- ½ cup Berries
- ½ Can Coconut Milk
- 2 scoops Bone broth powder
- Dog Honey
Method:
- Peel the skin of the Kumara and steam it until the Kumara is cooked.
- In the food processor, combine the cooked sweet potato, chopped or mashed berries, coconut milk, and bone broth powder. Pulse or blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Add a small amount of dog honey to the ice cube trays, silicone moulds, or small paper cups.
- Then spoon the mixture on top of it, you can give it a mix to create some marble effect
- Tap the trays or moulds gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles and to smooth the mixture.
- Place the trays or moulds in the freezer and let the treats freeze for at least 2-3 hours or until solid.
- Once frozen, pop the treats out of the trays or moulds and store them in a sealed container or plastic bag in the freezer.
- Now you have some health summer treat for your furry friends.
