Mango Munch Sorbet | Refreshing Mango Sorbet for Dogs

Mango Munch Sorbet

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups frozen, chopped mango
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Kōrure Pets Bone Broth Powder
  • 2 pumps of Kōrure Pet Algae Oil

Method:

  1. Start by adding Kōrure Pets bone broth powder to water. Use a whipper to dissolve the powder thoroughly, creating bone broth.

  2. Add the frozen chopped mango, peeled banana, Kōrure Pets Algae Oil, and Bone Broth into the blender.

  3. Blend the ingredients until smooth. Add more Algae Oil as needed to achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.

  4. Once the mixture is well blended, let it sit in the freezer for an hour until it has a sorbet-like texture.

  5. Use a spoon to shape the sorbet into a quenelle and transfer it onto a plate. You can also put it into ice cube trays or silicone moulds if you want a different shape.

  6. Alternatively, you can pour the sorbet mixture into a container for freezing if you prefer to scoop it out later.

  7. For garnish, you can add some more Kōrure Pets Algae Oil.

  8. Now, you can serve the Mango Munch Sorbet to your dog as a refreshing treat.

Remember to store any leftover sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for future servings. Always supervise your dog while they enjoy their treats and consult with your veterinarian if you have any concerns about their diet or health.

    Ingredient Benefits:
Algae oil is a good source of omega-3 DHA and EPA, beneficial for overall dog health, including brain function, heart health, joint health, skin and coat health, and immune system support. Bone broth is a concentrated source of nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and gelatin, which can contribute to overall health and well-being in dogs. Additionally, bone broth is gentle on the digestive system.

Mangoes are packed with essential nutrients and contain antioxidants like beta-carotene, flavonoids, and polyphenols, which help neutralise free radicals in the body. Mangoes are a good source of dietary fibre, which can aid in digestion and promote gastrointestinal health in dogs.
